Winchester City Council planning decisions

Winchester City Council planning officers permitted all application this week, expect for one which was withdrawn.

Mark Thistlethwayte's application was withdrawn for replacement single glazed windows and doors to listed property with like for like heritage eco slim double-glazed units to improve energy efficiency. This was at Oak Lodge, Bridge Street in Southwick.

In Bishop's Sutton, Mr and Mrs Cooper had an application permitted for a scheme of refenestration on ground floor rear elevation including insertion of glazed doors; removal of modern false floor and enlargement of internal hatch at Grove Cottage, Bishop's Sutton Road.

Mr and Mrs Sandom, in Bishop's Waltham, can have a swimming pool extension at Durley House, Winchester Road.

Martin Storey can have a replacement boiler; remove existing AGA chimney, replace with similar tiles; install new combi-boiler flue through rear wall; install a HIVE thermostat at Wheatsheaf Cottage, Free Street.

In Colden Common, Mrs Gallacher had an application permitted for a single storey front extension and porch canopy at 31 Pennington Close.

Mr Willemsen, in Curdridge, can have a garden room to end of garden at Merrion, Gordon Road.

Joseph Gamlin's application was permitted for alterations to front porch, demolition of garage and single storey rear extension at Forest View, Hambledon Road in Denmead.

An application from Hawkins was permitted for a dormer loft conversion on 21 Hyldeborne Road, Headbourne Worthy.

In Hursley, Jack Nethercott had an application permitted for an oak framed orangery and open porch, alterations to the existing roof and insertion of four pitched roof dormers at Clarendon Lodge, Clarendon Way.

Mr and Mrs Thwaites, in Swanmore, can have a single storey side extension to existing annex at 8 Foxcombe Close.

In Winchester, Leah Slade's retrospective application was permitted for the erection of outbuilding to rear of garden to accommodate gym and office space at Beeches, 34 Woodfield Drive.

Mr and Mrs Robinson can have a dormer extension to rear of terraced property at 34 Trinity Terrace, North Walls.

Hermione Newman's application was permitted for an replacement of an existing front metal fence and gate with masonry wall with openings, and the addition of new porch to front door. This is at Novus, Christchurch Road.

Barry Maddocks had an application permitted to repaint ground floor shopfront to green, with a beige base and white pillars to match the first floor; remove fascia lettering; amend hanging sign logo with new branding at 29 St Thomas Street.
