Man sentenced to 180 days in jail for vandalizing St. Cloud mosque

(St. Cloud, MN) -- A man has been sentenced for vandalizing a mosque in St. Cloud last year. Earlier this week, Logan Smith was sentenced to one-hundred-and-eighty days in jail. He plead guilty to burglary charges in connection with the incident earlier this year. Smith and an accomplice allegedly broke into the building and destroyed property inside, including scripture, interior doors, and furniture. The president of the Islamic Center of St. Cloud says the damage at the mosque has since been repaired.
