Recently reopened to be fully accessible via a long ramp through the forest canopy, this 60-foot-high observation deck on a bluff puts you 253 feet above Green Bay for views all the way to Michigan's U.P.

The stuff of postcards and mind-bending Insta posts, the last stretch of Highway 42 east of Gills Rock as it approaches Northport and the Washington Island ferry is a must.

Along a bay on the north shore of Washington Island, this partly sheltered swimming beach is a curving stretch of palm-sized white limestone cobblestones, worn smooth by the waves and shining bright in the sun.

The peak of lavender season at Fragrant Isle Lavender Farm & Shop during July and August is a fragrant, colorful excuse to cross to Washington Island.
